COLFUTURO beneficiaries who undertake studies
in subjects related to the audiovisual industry can
obtain 45% of the scholarship, as well as the amount
granted by COLFUTURO. The CNACC will determine
the list of beneficiaries according to the resources
available each year.
As part of the agreement, professionals in the
audiovisual field who fulfill the required academic
criteria can take part in the Talent Recruitment Program.
There they will receive accompaniment and guidance
in selecting a top-level postgraduate program with
activities of specific interest to their field.
Harvard
This agreement between COLFUTURO and Harvard
University provides support for up to five Doctorate
students and up to fifteen Master’s students per
academic year.
For Master’s students, COLFUTURO offers the standard
support, and Harvard supplements this to cover
additional costs as required. To do this, it uses resources
from the Harvard-Colombia Fund and other funds.
For Doctorate students, COLFUTURO offers
scholarship support for up to two years to a maximum
amount of USD $50,000. In turn, Harvard supplements
COLFUTURO’s assistance and guarantees funds from
different sources to ensure that the entire cost of the
Ph.D., including both tuition fees and living expenses, is
covered by the scholarship.
French Embassy
Currently, COLFUTURO and the French Embassy have
two lines of support:
Talent Recruitment Program benefits
French Embassy – CEF
Candidates selected by the French Embassy from the
Talent Recruitment Program have access to 400 hours
of French lessons in regional offices of the Alianza
Colombo Francesa, as preparation for postgraduate
studies in France. Furthermore, they receive a 25%
discount on rates with Campus France, the entity that
manages admission to French education centers and
conducts the processes for obtaining a student visa.
French Embassy – CEF
The French Embassy, Corporación para los Estudios
en Francia (CEF) and COLFUTURO signed an
agreement that will benefit Colombian professionals
who undertake Master’s or Doctorate studies in
France between 2011 and 2015.
The CEF—the entity responsible for promoting
and supporting education for young Colombians in
France’s best universities—and the French Embassy
will allocate €160,000 per year for four years, funds
that COLFUTURO will administer. It is estimated that
40 students will be supported, with each student
receiving €4,000 per year.
Ecopetrol
In 2014, COLFUTURO signed a new agreement
with Ecopetrol to promote high-level training and
education for Colombians from regions in which the
agreements with universities
and educational institutions.
